What is Codecademy Go?
Codecademy Go is a mobile app and supplemental tool to your Codecademy Pro subscription. With Codecademy Go you can practice coding, review coding concepts, and read articles and stories that will get you closer to achieving your learning goals. All on the go, wherever you’d like.
Do I need an Internet connection to use Codecademy Go?
We recommend having an active Internet connection while using Codecademy Go. While you’re offline, Codecademy Go will work with content you have previously downloaded to your device.
What platforms support the Codecademy Go app?
Codecademy Go is supported on the following platforms:
- iOS 10+ on iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
- Android smartphone devices running Android 5+.
- Works on iPads running iOS 10+, with no landscape mode support.
Does Codecademy Go require a subscription?
Codecademy Go requires a Codecademy Pro subscription, or a current enrollment in a Pro Intensive.
Do I have access to Codecademy Go as part of my Pro Intensive?
Codecademy Go is intended to supplement your Codecademy Pro experience. While you can use Codecademy Go while you’re enrolled in your Intensive, not all curriculum covered in Pro Intensive is available in Codecademy Go.
